The allegation against the petitioner was that he, while posted as Patwari, made certain bogus entries in the revenue record showing the land of Muhammad Siddique complainant as allotted to Badar Islam claimant.

Learned counsel for the petitioner stated that before the registration of the present case an enquiry had been made into this allegation by the Additional Settlement Commissioner exercising the power of Chief Settlement Commissioner, Dera Ghazi Khan, who vide his order dated 26-7-1978 found that the allotment in favour of Badar Islam was correct and accordingly, maintained the same.
3. In view of the above circumstances, it appears to be a fit easel for bail. Accordingly, I confirm the interim bail of the petitioner. He is, however, directed to join the investigation.
