MUHAMMAD RAUF QADRI JUNADI versus CITY DISTRICT GOVERNMENT KARACHI

Article 189 The decisions of the High Courts are binding on other courts. The law enforced by the Supreme Court is not only binding on all government departments, but also the governmental duties of the servicemen are bound to follow such principles according to the letter and spirit. In case of violation of the prescribed dictation of the High Courts, the relevant authorities will have to take action under contempt of court law, and the respective officers will have to be guided in relation to the prescribed rules of the superior officers.
