The petitioner belongs to a tribe which is admittedly in a minority in this Patti. He alleges that his tribe is not in minority in the estate as a whole. He has, however, no figures to refer to. The petitioner alleges that the local Revenue Officers have given him an adverse report due to the machinations of the respondent who is an office Kanungo in one of the Tahsils. This allegation cannot be raised at 'the present stage, and the correct place, where it should have been raised, was either before the Collector or the Commissioner.
The petitioned further claims that the respondent should have been debarred from this appointment, because he is holding office under the Crown and does not live in the village. I do not think that I shall interfere in this Lambardari appointment on that account. The Collector will obviously make suitable arrangements for a Sarbrah for the respondent in his appointment as Lambardar.
For the above reasons, I dismiss this petition for revision.
