Arts 2, 25 and 199 Constitutional petition discrimination against women and children in educational institutions, the applicant's complaint was that the university had allowed respondents eight months extension to submit their M.Phil thesis and He was denied such extension that in the case of the University, the applicants' applications were rejected by the Advanced Studies Research Board while the board extended the time for the respondents. One Deal with the Applicants, which was different from the Respondents All the applicants were women and it may be inferred that there was discrimination against the female students, which was also against the provisions of Article 25 (3) of the Constitution. Provided that because of these irregularities due to CI, the women and children of the country should make special arrangements for the protection and promotion of their status. State institutions should be given special provisions to protect and maintain their status. The Issues High Court directed the University to consult the Advanced Studies Research Board and submit appropriate orders in connection with the submission of applicants' thesis, under which the petition was granted.
