Refusal to import vehicle, Authority High Court pending final judgment - Importer seeking release of vehicle on payment of pending percentage And its import is not prohibited in law, then payable and taxable within a stipulated time; but if its import is banned, the importer is entitled to release it. And that until the final decision on the matter, the vehicle will be issued on payment of assessment duty, tax and 30% penalty, and if the importer succeeds in proving that he is not liable to pay any penalty , Then the maximum amount paid will be refunded.
