Refusal to import vehicle, Authority High Court pending final judgment - Importer seeking release of vehicle on payment of pending percentage And its import is not prohibited in law, then payable and taxable within a stipulated time; but if its import is banned, the importer is entitled to release it. R will not. And that until the final decision on the matter, the vehicle will be issued on payment of assessment duty, tax and 30% penalty, and if the importer succeeds in proving that he is not liable to pay any penalty , Then the maximum amount paid will be refunded.
