The testimony of Section 13 evidence was presented to the court during the trial of an alleged ammunition recovered from the accused on the same day and time, other than a rifle. The witness did not suspect that a fellow police officer would do his best to protect the interest of the complainant, after receiving a search warrant, as well as his police officers raiding the suspect's home. And none of the public was ever witnessed to the recovery proceedings. Violations of the provisions of Section 103, CRPC, especially where confessions were found in the premises other than the house of the accused, were acquitted on the benefit of the doubt in the circumstances.
