MUHAMMAD RIAZ versus STATE
Pakistan Penal Code Sections 302/324/148/149 Judicial Justice System Ordinance (XXII of 2000), Section 4 Judicial Court's jurisdiction to grant jurisdiction has not been traced in relation to the accused's age. The accused cannot be denied because he is under 18 years of age and should therefore have been tried by a special court established under the Judicial Justice System Ordinance, 2000 Trial Court, to be considered. At the time the accused was under 18 years of age, it was correctly concluded that the accused should be tried under the Juvenile Justice System Ordinance. The enforced order of 2000 does not face any illegal action. Had to be done and maintained accordingly.
