MUHAMMAD SHARIF versus THE STATE
Defining evidence in the Pakistan Penal Code Section 304, Part I, the trial court dismissed the account after finding out that it had claimed that the witnesses had not seen the incident and had rightly dismissed the account. Witnesses recovered from the hearing were also denied after dismissing all evidence at the trial. The trial court had found the accused guilty only on the defense plea made by him and sentenced. While the accused was found guilty of the crime, he remained in prison for almost nine years, which was sufficient to meet the limits of justice by which the accused was sentenced to life imprisonment. Under this, the trial court was already locked up in his jail
