According to Article 89 that was implemented by the President, (1973) could be treated as an Act of Parliamentary Order issued by the President / Chief Martial Law Administrator. Article 247 of the Constitution of Pakistan (1973) does not require any notification for extension of such orders in the tribal areas but the ordinance issued by the President shall not extend to the tribal areas unless extended under a separate notification.
