Section 491 Habitat Corpus could not file a record against the Deputy Tehsildar (Defendant) Ditto for any agricultural income tax defaults. No action was initiated against the landowners to collect the tax. Could not be held responsible. The arrest of the landlord and consequently the deputy tehsildar declared detention of deteno illegal and without legal authority and accordingly he was released.
