The Pakistan Penal Code Sections 306, 308 and 311 Constitution of Pakistan (1973), Article 185 (3) were heard on the delay of eight days in filing leave for appeal because the accused was under the age of thirteen at the time of commission. In order to appeal the crime, the Supreme Court considered whether the accused could be kept in jail indefinitely until payment of the amount due under section 311, PPC.
