Sections 12 (1) and (2) of the West Pakistan Family Court Act 1964, Article 1973 (1973), Article 199 The effect of the post-trial proceedings of the reconciliation between the parties was that the husband was abroad to dissolve the marriage filed by the wife. The trial court was ordered by the Family Court to resort to a reconciliation proceeding under the West Pakistan Family Courts Act, 1964 s: 12 (1), without a valid husband: a long resident abroad And even through it a written statement was sought for reconciliation. Considered under section 12 (1) of the Act, would be useless in situations where compromise or reconciliation was not possible, under Section 12 (2) the Family Court was authorized to make a decision under the West Pakistan Family Courts Act 1964. Constitutional application was dismissed under circumstances which could have been reached by the Family Court.
