Newspaper Employees (Terms of Service) Act 1973 Section 4, 17, 18 and 19 Contract Act (IX of 1872), Section 2 (h) Industrial Relations Ordinance (XXIII of 1969), Section 25A Constitution of Pakistan (1973), Article 1993 According to the constitutional petition of the employees, the terms of service of such employees were enforced under the provisions of the Newspaper Employees (Terms of Service) Act, 1973, in case of termination of employment May request labor court jurisdiction for settlement. The employee's employee, although appointed on a contractual basis for 4 years on a yearly basis, still governs the terms and conditions of his employment under the provisions of the Newspaper Employee Act (1973) and Can't do Depriving him of the rights, privileges and entitlements available under the Newspaper Employee (Terms of Service) Act 1973, the services of such employees were terminated by contract. Not permitted under the D Newspaper Employee (Terms of Service) Act, 1973, cannot be interfered with by the Labor Appellate Tribunal.
