FATEH MUHAMMAD KHAN versus NATIONAL INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS COMMISSION
Industrial Relations Ordinance 1969 Section 8 (4) (5) of the Constitution of Pakistan (1973), Article 199 amended the constitutional jurisdiction of the Union, both the Registrar-wise Trade Union and the National Industrial Relations Commission approved the amendment to the Constitution. The GOI found that the proposed amendment was in accordance with the by-laws of the union and was in accordance with the procedure laid down in the customs of both union authorities, and it was further concluded that the applicants who had served as union officials Objected to this amendment, they were not entitled to a timely hearing. The approval of the amendments made by the incoming officials of the competent authority authorized after the consideration of the relevant law cannot be interfered with in the constitutional jurisdiction of the High Court.
