MESSRS ALIPUR JUTE MILLS versus PUNJAB LABOUR APPELLATE TRIBUNAL
Industrial Relations Ordinance 1969 Section 25 Constitution of Pakistan (1973), Article 199 An unauthorized absence from duty was transferred by the administration to his sister's concern but the former allegedly did not join the posting worker's new station. Which was demanded to be disclosed. Kaz submitted his response that he did not know about the transfer order even after he had not joined the worker duty, and for that reason, he was not aware of the statement of witnesses brought in the transfer order in the employees' notice. He was sacked but later refused to receive them. Passing through its contents, the worker at least learned of the transfer notice after serving the showcase notice but did not report the duty nor challenge the transfer order that was given to him.
