Constitution Pakistan 1973 Article 212 (3) The government employee who was appointed to this post failed to report for duty on the specified date and, thereafter, demanded extension of time to join the duty department. Appeals filed by a public servant were not allowed by the court. The service tribunal took the correct view on the issue that the public authority's appeal before the department authority was self-imposed and that their treatment could not be considered baseless before the Federal Ombudsman and the High Court. The Appeal Appeal was properly dismissed by the Government Tribunal in the face of time constraints before the Service Tribunal, even though no matter the merits, the Government employee was instructed to report for duty. Failure to do so, thus the civil servant, cannot be called upon to enlarge. As a service tribunal's correct decision, the service was unconvincing, the appeal was denied in the circumstances
