Industrial Relations Ordinance 1969 Section 25 A publicity employee who was later employed as a welder was asked to act as assistant foreman with the promise that if after six months it was found that he could perform the job satisfactorily. If so, it will be promoted and confirmed as an assistant. Not only did the foreman employee successfully complete a six-month investigation period, but also after the trial period ended and there were no complaints against the employee, they made the promise made by the employer. Accordingly, the assistant was entitled to certification as a foreman.
